St. John Paul II Homeschool Ministry

"The Christian family can and should be called the Domestic Church." – Familiaris Consortio, St. John Paul II, 1981

About Us

Welcome to the JP II Homeschool Ministry! We are a vibrant Catholic homeschool community dedicated to the mission of serving Catholic families in their educational journey. Our organization is dedicated to fostering a supportive community that encourages spiritual, social, and educational growth among homeschooling families within St. Joseph's Parish and beyond.

Our Foundation

Founded by passionate parents who sought to create an enriching environment for their children, our ministry has grown over the years, providing various programs and resources tailored to meet the needs of our members. We are committed to upholding the teachings of Pope Saint John Paul II as we strive to live out our faith through education and family involvement in parish life.

Our Mission

It is our mission to serve the Catholic homeschool community within St. Joseph's Parish and the Diocese of St. Augustine, Florida. Through our sponsored activities, we provide regular opportunities for spiritual, social, and educational growth as we strive to support one another in our children's Catholic home education.

Responding to the call of Pope Saint John Paul II, "As the domestic church, the family is summoned to proclaim, celebrate and serve the Gospel of life." We live this teaching by both home educating our children and participating in the life of the parish.

Our Community

We welcome all families who are either discerning homeschooling or currently homeschooling. Our community provides a supportive network where families can share experiences, resources, and encouragement as they navigate the homeschooling journey together.
